The name of Medowie’s newest high school has been revealed.
During a special ceremony, the corner stone of the new Catherine McAuley Catholic College was revealed.
Some of these year 3 students will be among the first cohort, when the school opens in 2020.
“Those students will mainly come from St Bridges Raymond Terrace, St Michaels Nelson Bay, ah St Josephs at Buledelah drawing on the areas around the Port Stephens peninsula”, said Ray Collins from the Diocese of Maitland and Newcastle.
The school is expected to cater for almost 12-hundred students by 2026.
