Tamworth’s Iranian community banded together last night to celebrate a 4,000 year old tradition.
Nearly 150 people were invited to welcome in the Persian New Year at locals Haideh Soleimani and Amir Mirzamohammadi’s home, with many from non-Iranian backgrounds also soaking up the festivities.
