ROUNDABOUT CONSTRUCTION TO COMMENCE NEXT MONTH

Road users should see the end of roadworks along Manilla Road by this time next year.

Tamworth Regional Council has announced the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Peel and Marius Streets will begin on January 8.

It’s expected to be completed in August.

Meanwhile the final stage of the road project is currently being designed, which will see upgrades to the Jewry Street intersection, as well as a second bridge.
