A badly damaged stretch of road in the Greater Taree area will soon receive some attention, with council awarded $2-million from the State Government.
The funding will help reconstruct almost three kilometres along Manning Point Road, near Old Bar.
Council was one of 57 successful applicants under round two of the Local Government Infrastructure Renewal Scheme.
