Lismore and Byron Bay Courthouses will soon be home to brand new remote witness rooms.
The aim is to allow vulnerable witnesses to give evidence from a secure and safe room via video link.
It aims to help those making an appearance feel more comfortable, particularly for victim-survivors of domestic, family, and sexual violence.
The rooms will be built by the end of the year.
