WEATHER | WINTRY BLAST

A strong cold front has brought widespread snow falls and ice to parts of New South Wales, including the Northern Tablelands and the Barrington Tops.

It is expected to be the coldest day of the year for the Snowy Mountains, Canberra and Orange, according to the NSW Bureau of Meteorology.

Skiers are celebrating, with up to a metre of snow falling at Perisher and Thredbo.

Has it snowed in your home town? We’d love to see your photos and video.
