Police are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a home at Muswellbrook last night.
Emergency services were called to Wybong Way just before 10 o’clock.
They found thick smoke coming from the house, and started putting out flames.
No-one was injured.
In a separate incident, crews were called to a truck fire on Maitland Street at Muswellbrook, just before 2 o’clock this morning.
The driver, who was transporting timber,noticed smoke coming from the cab of the truck, and got out.
Firefighters found the cab well alight, and extinguished flames soon after.
