SOCIAL HOUSING RESIDENT FORCED TO USE LOO IN FRONT YARD

It’s emerged a Mayfield social housing tenant has been forced to use a port-a-loo and shower in her frontyard for nearly four months, as her unit awaits repairs.

Deral Black says the temporary arrangements don’t even have a lock.

“It’s disgusting. It’s embarrassing. Like, I’m 72 years old. How would they like their mothers coming out here at that age?” Ms Black said.

The work is expected to get underway next week.
