ONE SERVICE STILL RUNNING AT NEWCASTLE AIRPORT

FlyPelican is the only service still operating out of Newcastle Airport, after Virgin Australia went into voluntary administration.

The government subsidised airline can take passengers to Sydney, Dubbo, Canberra and Ballina.

“We’ve lost almost a hundred per cent of our aero-nautical income and a significant portion of flights including all the major carriers – Virgin, Jetstar, Rex, but luckily we’ve got Fly Pelican, our local airline, still going.” – Dr. Peter Cock, Newcastle Airport.
