SOMERSBY AND KARIONG FLOOD IN CENTRAL COAST DOWNPOUR

Parts of the Central Coast were hit by flash flooding as Gosford saw its biggest downpour since October.

Animals including koalas were moved to higher ground at The Australian Reptile Park in Somersby on Friday.

Alligators watched and waited in rising waters, before pushing the boundaries at fence lines.

In Kariong, backyards were inundated, prompting quick cleanup efforts.

Waterfalls once again flowed down the hill to Gosford… a soggy few, splashing around at the waterfront.
