PORT STEPHENS MARINE RESCUE GETS A BOOST WITH ARRIVAL OF NEW RESCUE BOAT

The newest member of the Marine Rescue Port Stephens crew received a warm welcome this morning, as rescue boat The John Thompson finished its journey from Taree.

The high-tech vessel docked at its new home, where excited volunteers all but rolled out the red carpet for the organisation’s newest recruit.

The vessel is part of the service’s state-wide refurbishment program.
