The Newcastle Jets have played down concerns that Donald Trump’s actions could threaten their new-found financial stability.
The US President’s trade war with China has hit owner Martin Lee’s business hard, the share price of his company Ledman has more than halved since May.
Mr Lee reportedly considered cutting the club’s player wage bill but ultimately decided otherwise.
