An elderly man has died, following a car accident in Tamworth on Friday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Marius Street at around 2pm, after a car travelling north mounted the footpath and collided with a brick fence.
The 84-year-old male driver was rushed to Tamworth Hospital, but sadly died later that night.
His 73-year-old female passenger was not injured.
Police believe the driver suffered a medical condition just before the crash.
