ELECTRICITY MAINTENANCE TO LIMIT WERRIS CREEK WATER SUPPLY

Residents in Werris Creek are being urged to limit their water use between midnight tonight and midnight tomorrow night.

Essential Energy will be undertaking planned maintenance to the network, which will temporarily interrupt power, affecting the town’s water supply.

While the power is off water will not be able to be pumped from Quipolly Dam to the town’s treatment plant.

As a result water levels in the reservoir will continue to drop until power is restored.
