The New England region has been allocated more than $23-million by the Federal Government in this round of Financial Assistance Grants.
Tamworth Regional Council will see receive the largest share of the pie, with more than $5.2-million for the Country Music Capital.
Gwydir and Armidale will be granted more than two and three million, respectively.
The rest of the money will be divided between the region’s other councils.
