DRUG BUS VISITS NORTH WEST

Oxley Highway Patrol officers are cracking down on drug-driving this Easter break.

The New South Wales drug bus has made a visit to the North West, as part of Operation Tortoise.

Today the vehicle was set up on Armidale Road, testing drivers heading out of Tamworth.

As well as drug testing, drivers also underwent a breath test.

Double demerit points are in place until midnight on Monday.
