INVERELL PARENTS PUSH TO HAVE BORDER EXEMPTIONS FOR THEIR CHILDREN

Inverell parents, Ben and Annabelle Monie, have called on the Palaszczuk government to grant border exemptions for their children.
Their kids attend boarding school in Queensland and want to come home for the school holidays, but they’ve been told they’ll need to quarantine for 14 days when they go back again.
“Our closest covid cases are in Queensland and we’re just appealing for a little bit of common sense to the approach from the Queensland government.”
They’re inviting others to show their support by posting a video online.
“To support our plight and the plight of less than a couple of hundred families who are in the same situation as us where we will actually be split from our children over the holidays.”
