PLEA TO NEW MINISTER FOR CRISIS ACCOMMODATION

The push for a crisis accommodation centre in Tamworth has re-ignited, with Member for Tamworth, Kevin Anderson, optimistic the new health minister will support the project.

Mr Anderson believes Brad Hazard’s background and experience in the sector could help the region’s cause.

“He’s come out of community services so he understands very well the need for those sort of facilities in regional NSW.”

Challenge Community Services has teamed up with the local ice action group to establish the 24-hour facility.
