Tamworth pacer ‘Seventhirtyseven’ is seeking his second win in as many starts in Maitland on Sunday.
The gelding claimed victory two weeks ago, having raced in Newcastle the night before.
He’ll start from barrier five, the same position as his last run.
“There’s no point in going back. So we’ll go forward and see what happens. Hopefully we get a good run this week, and hopefully he can pull it off again.”
There’ll be no rest for the five year old, with Dean Germon intending on racing him again on his home track next weekend.
