Armidale Regional Council has officially appointed a new General Manager.
James Roncon will step into the role from January, under a five-year contract.
Mr Roncon is presently serving as general manager of Broken Hill City Council and has more than 23-years of experience in local government.
The position was vacated by Susan Law in July.
