Grafton police are appealing for witnesses to a hit and run which left a 29-year-old pedestrian in a critical condition last night.
Police need a description of a car which drove off after hitting the man in Roberts Drive just before eleven o’clock.
Meanwhile an hour earlier in Coffs Harbour, a 43-year old man fell six metres from a window at a backpackers hostel in Albany Street.
The man suffered multiple fractures and lacerations and is in a serious condition.
Police are investigating the cause of the fall.
