Lovers of literature will have plenty to ponder when the 20th annual Byron Writers Festival gets underway in August.
The event’s program was officially unveiled this morning – organisers calling it the most diverse yet.
“We have sessions ranging from food and architecture, to photojournalism, the art of writing, theatre, sport, you know. We try to cover as much as possible.”
“This year we have 150 writers from all over Australia and all over the world.”
Comedian Magda Szubanski, musician Paul Kelly, and American satirist P.J O’Rourke, are among several A-listers who’ll appear.
Activities begin on August 5.
