Motorists are being asked to plan ahead, with changed traffic conditions on the Oxley Highway at Spencers Cutting from this Sunday.
Lanes will be closed to enable the construction of pavement along a 1.2-kilometre stretch of the road.
Work will be carried out between 6pm and 6am with a reduced speed limit of 40 kilometres per hour in place for safety.
Depending on the weather, work is expected to be complete by Friday January 25.
