A 36-year-old man was trapped for almost an hour after a truck collided with his ute on Bangalow Road, near Clunes this morning.
Police say the small truck carrying a load of gas bottles, crossed onto the wrong side of the road, colliding with the ute at around 10:30.
The man was taken to Lismore Base Hospital in a stable condition.
The driver of the truck has undergone mandatory blood and urine testing.
The crash investigation unit is looking into it.
