A two-year-old girl has died in hospital, after she was found unconscious in a backyard pool near Tamworth.
Emergency services were called to a home on Peregrine Avenue at Calala at around 4:30 yesterday afternoon, after reports a girl had been pulled from the water.
She was treated by paramedics at the scene, before being taken to Tamworth Hospital where she died.
