The soap and suds were flying around Australia today as thousands of Girl Guides attempted a new Guinness world record for the number of cars washed in a day.
At Coffs Harbour the girls got stuck in, and had washed around 50 cars by midday.
” we are hoping it’s going to be a very important fundraiser for us we are getting five dollars per car to go towards the girls unit so we’ve got Sawtell and Coffs Harbour here today which has been a lovely turnout from all the girls.”
The Australia-wide target today was 5000 cars washed in just six hours.
