Orica’s Kooragang Island plant, on the Port of Newcastle in conjunction with the local emergency response services, will be conducting an emergency exercise today from 11am to 1pm.
The object of the exercise is to test the emergency responses of the plant and to help restore public confidence in the Orica’s operations after several environmental breaches.
