If you thought election fever was over, think again.
Next Thursday Tweed Councillors will vote, to decide who will be Mayor for the next 12 months.
Incumbent Barry Longland is the first to throw his hat in the ring.
He says residents should care who represents them.
“I go to everything I can and that information is invaluable to me when I’m making decisions on behalf of the community.”
Next week’s council meeting will also see a recruitment agency picked to advertise for a new General Manager.
