Movie World will be transformed into a winter wonderland for locals doing it tough, like three-year-old Claire Gutke, who was born with a rare chromosome disorder.
“They’ll be able to have a special Christmas evening with snow, lights and a magical parade and just a little break from their normal day to day.”
A fund has also been set up to raise money for disadvantaged families – donations can be made through Movie World’s website.
