The family of an elderly Kempsey man who died a week after being viciously bashed in his home, is making an appeal for public help.
75-year-old Stanley Davies was found unconscious in his Dangar Street home a fortnight ago, suffering serious head and stomach injuries.
He died at Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital on Friday.
Family members and police are this morning appealing to anyone who has information about the case to come forward.
