FINAL FLIGHT FOR AUSTRALIA’S OLDEST FIGHTER PILOT

The life of a fighter pilot – it’s a job many of us can only marvel at.

Despite appearances – it’s also one of the most physically demanding, meaning many pilots leave the cockpit in their 40’s.

Not so for Newcastle pilot Phillip Frawley, who retired this weekend after taking his final flight with the RAAFs 76 Squadron, at the age of 65.
