WERRIS WATER WOES

Liverpool Plains Council says a lack of adherance to water restrictions at Werris Creek has forced it to introduce tighter rules earlier than expected.
Level two restrictions will be in place as of this Wednesday – meaning no sprinklers, a two hour cap on hose watering, and a permit for those wanting to fill pools.
The Quipolly Dam has dropped six per cent since the start of the year, to around 32 per cent capacity.
