A young boy remains in a critical condition after being seriously injured in a fall at Coffs Harbour.
The five-year-old boy was with family at the Jetty on Friday afternoon, when he slipped through railing, plunging six metres on to the wet sand.
Paramedics were called and he was taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus, suffering severe head injuries.
The boy was later transferred to the Sydney Children’s Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
Police are asking for any witnesses to come forward and help them piece together how the accident occurred.
