Police commissioner Andrew Scipione will visit Bowraville later this week to meet with the families of three children who were murdered in the town in 1990 and 1991.
Mr Scipione recently referred a submission to the state’s Attorney-General, calling for a retrial of the cases which saw a local man acquitted of two of the murders.
The Commissioner will visit a memorial to the children on Thursday afternoon.
