TINKLER COMPANY ‘WOUND UP’

There’s more financial trouble for Nathan Tinkler after one of his companies was today wound up and liquidators appointed after it failed to pay a debt.

A spokesperson for Mr Tinkler says the Supreme Court’s decision would not affect the mining magnate’s other companies, including Hunter Ports and the Hunter Sports Group.

Coal explorer Blackwood sued the former Hunter billionaire’s Mulsanne (MUL-SARN) Resources after it agreed to buy a stake in it for $28.4 million, but then failed to follow through with the deal.
