POLITICAL STALEMATE OVER DREDGING THE CHANNEL

Central Coast Council and the state government are at loggerheads over who is responsible for dredging Ettalong Channel.

Neither is willing to pay the dredging cost in full and while they argue, the channel gets shallower.
