Tamworth AFL’s representative side took on the North Coast competition’s best yesterday, but fell short of a rare win.

Playing in Coffs Harbour, the Power’s forward line put the hosts under pressure.

A strong showing in contested possessions saw plenty of scoring opportunities, which they gratefully accepted.

But despite kicking 10 majors, Tamworth couldn’t stop the North Coast’s attack, going down by 25 points.
