NEW LIBRARY TO BE BUILT IN GRAFTON

Work will begin on a new library and education centre in Grafton early next year.
The Clarence Valley Council has awarded Kempsey firm, O’Donnell and Hanlon, the tender to build the $8-million project.
The two-storey library will be built in part of the Pound Street carpark, and take a year to complete.
It will be called the Sir Earl Page Library as a tribute to the Grafton born surgeon who became Australia’s eleventh Prime Minister.
