SOUTHS ADVANCE TO GRAND FINAL QUALIFIER

In Hunter Coast Premier Hockey, Gosford has qualified for the season decider thanks to a big win over Norths in the major semi.

Kael Webster, Liam Alexander and Stuart Fletcher all hit the target in the five nil whitewash.

In the minor semi, Wests hit the front after two minutes thanks to Ben Boyle and Jacob Searle.

Souths hit back as John Fernance set up Cameron Thornton.

Souths earned a penalty, but Simon Massey couldn’t hit the target.

Wests had plenty of good looks late in the half, but it was Souths who won 2-1 to advance to the grand final qualifier against Norths.
