STRANDED WINDSURFER RESCUED AT BALLINA

Emergency services rushed to rescue a windsurfer in Ballina this morning, after he became stranded in North Creek, just off the Richmond River.

The 78-year-old had been windsurfing with another man, when he was blown off course.

He managed to stayed afloat until a jet rescue boat arrived.

Thankfully the man wasn’t hurt.
