COMMUNITY RALLIES BEHIND INJURED LEAGUE PLAYER

The Windale Rugby League community has rallied behind injured player Damian Jobson, hosting a fundraising day at its local oval.
Raffles were held and donation buckets handed around during junior and senior games today, to raise money for the 35-year-old, who’s been left a quadraplegic following a tackle.
Some Knights players even turning out to show their support.
“It’s mindblowing…when things like this happen, you just think you’re on your own, on your own as a club but we’re not,” said Windale Senior Rugby League Club President, Scott McDonell.
