The Islington Action Group in Newcastle is calling for the Attorney General to launch an inquiry, after a magistrate dismissed a charge against a man of soliciting for prostitution in view of a church.
The magistrate wasn’t convinced the Islington Baptist Church was functioning as a church, but it has been for more than 120 years.
The magistrate is not qualified to do her job and should be removed. She must expect some strange version of proof but I say if you do not know what a church is and has been for 120 years then leave the bench before you make worse errors,
