CHRISTMAS GIFTS REACH NARRABRI FOR DELIVERY TO DROUGHT-AFFECTED FAMILIES

Christmas will be a whole lot brighter for drought-afftected children, thanks to a generous donation from the East Cessnock Bowling Club.
$13,000 worth of toys made their way to the Narrabri Bowling Club, ready for distribution around the region.
“These are the last ones going out today and they’ll be going out to the Anglican Church and they’re going to distribute in age group and what have you do we know that it all gets to the right kids and the right place,” Wendy Mortimer, Narrabri Bowling Club.
Another $5,000 worth of vouchers will go to farmers, to help ease the financial pressure of the holiday period.
