A dispute near Glen Innes yesterday aftenoon has landed two people in hospital.
Police were called to the Wytalibah commune at around 4:30 following reports a man had been stabbed in the thigh with a spear.
The 30 year old victim then retaliated by taking a shovel and hitting the elderly man in the arm.
So far no charges have been laid.
