Port Macquarie’s Ryley Batt shone in day two of the Wheelchair Rugby Tri Nations Tournament, helping Australia secure a 57-41 goal win over New Zealand.
Yesterday, the Australians were seeking revenge in the tournament opener against the USA, with the Steelers trying to regain their number one world ranking.
Despite Batt putting in a 22 goal performance, it wasn’t enough to take down thE Americans, who won 56-43.
The three day tournament between Australia, America and New Zealand will wrap up at Sydney’s St Mary’s Cathedral tomorrow.
