TAMWORTH COLD CASE EXPLORED IN NEW SERIES

It’s a death that’s remained unexplained for the past 29-years and now the cold case of Tamworth teenager, Mark Haines will be explored in a new television series.
The 17-year-old’s body was found on railway tracks just south of Tamworth in January, 1988.
Since then two coronial inquests have resulted in open findings.
Oxley police reopened the investigation last year after new witnesses came forward, but Mark’s family maintains the teenager was murdered.
“Rumours of corruption, racism and murder have swirled around the case.”
Earlier this year the State Crime Command announced it would conduct a review of the police investigation.
Cold Justice will premier on NITV at 9.30 tonight.
