Three cartons of spirits worth $1800 were stolen from the BYO bottle shop at Northgate Shopping Centre in Tamworth early this morning.
A stolen Mitsubishi Pajero carrying six youths rammed the front of the building at 1:45am.
They attempted to access the safe, but were unsuccessful.
The vehicle was found at midday today in West Tamworth, and appears to have been used at another break in, just south of Tamworth.
Police are reviewing CCTV footage of the incident.
