CCTV NETWORK FOR WERRIS CREEK

The Liverpool Plains Shire Council is set to explore the use of a CCTV network in Werris Creek.
$3,000 has been set aside to scope and design the project, but its overall cost could be up to $60,000.
The need for security cameras was highlighted by a number of incidents, including a recent ram raid and acts of vandalism.
Eight potential locations have been identified, with businesses and residents to be consulted in coming weeks.
