The case of missing toddler William Tyrrell has been referred to the local coroner.
But police say the move is standard procedure for this kind of matter
and are continuing their investigation in the hope the four year old is still alive.
Little William vanished while playing at his grandmother’s Kendall home on the mid north coast a year ago.
