The National Beach 5s Rugby Tournament is coming to Newcastle for the first time this Australia Day.
The sport is a fast-paced, modified game of Rugby League, Rugby Union and Touch Football.
Headlining the event are a number of Australian football stars, including Newcastle Knights legends, Danny Buderus and Owen Craigie.
Former NRL players Willie Mason and Lote Tuqiri will also be attending alongside the Event Director, Peter Hickey from Beach Rugby Australia.
A celebrity charity game kicks off at 3pm.
